Anime North 2009 has come and gone *wails*
GloomyAnime North finished!! Why? Why?! WHY?! GAH! An anime convention should last an entire week and not just a measly weekend... NO! An entire month!! *Cackles*
Point number one of this journal, I brought more than a thousand dollars to spend at Anime North for merchandise... And I only have five dollars left from the amount that I brought left
Point number two, I bought more than fifty mangas at the convention!! This once again brings me back to point one of a thousand dollars being spent at the con... Where did all my money go?! You should have seen Tessa with her "WHY THE HELL DID YOU BUY SO MANY MANGAS AND KEY CHAINS?!" But it's okay, because she bought a crazy amount of DVD box sets! HA! But no, she didn't spend plus a thousand dollars at the convention... *sighs*
Point number three, NEVER stick five stupid teenagers together in the same room whom were all sleep deprived and had their brains scrambled from both "Anime Hell" and "Totally Lame Anime After Dark"... All I can say that I nearly died from the stupidity (I couldn't breathe from all the laughing that I did) and "GIRAFFES!"
Point number four, I took over three thousand pictures... Which I will be uploading on DA as soon as possible. This means that when you check your DA account and see that you have over a hundred deviations, that's probably me... Don't kill me if any of you have broken modems by the end of this!!
A lot of the pictures that I've taken may have ended up in the scrapbook section because my friend (who was also taking pictures) kept getting in my shots!! Stupid Sheena... She's the one who ran up to the cosplayers and literally scared them...
3 000 PICTURES! There were many great cosplayers this year at the convention!! I must admit, due to school I didn't know a lot of the anime cosplayers, so if I write "Anime North 2009 Convention XX", chances are that I don't know who the cosplayer cosplayed as... PLEASE ENLIGHTEN THE OH SO NOT-SO-BRIGHT-ONE!!
But other than the sleep deprivation, the near death experience by laughing my lungs out, my poor scrambled brain, spending so much money at Anime North and my awesome ninja moves that I had to do to get photos. IT WAS GREAT!!
I'm sorry if I couldn't meet up with everyone that I was supposed to meet up with!! There were too many people that I had to meet and there was so many cosplayers to run after!!

We managed to cram 7 people into a hotel room. Friday going to sleep at 3 and waking up at 8, Saturday going to sleep at 5 and waking up at 8 XDD

Looks like you were on the 8th or 10th floor or something. My room was on the 6th floor, all the way at the end of the hallway. I had 100 lb of luggage with me, mostly consisting of photoshoot gear. (But the way, my private shoots went well!)
I have beaten my previous record of 3,100 shots with about... 5,000 photos?
I'll help you identify the cosplayers as much as I can. ~Mannaka has also started to upload her thousands of pictures, with about a couple hundred already up.
Last question: With who did you end up having dinner on Friday? I was solo on both Friday and Sunday, carrying 40 lb worth of bags on me at all times. I only had an assistant or two on Saturday.
And I think I made a profit, actually. XD For each private photoshoot I held, the cosplayers gave me a lot of snacks. Plus I got rewarded for holding my Cosplay Photoshoots panel. In all, maybe I received $60-80 worth of snacks, granola bars, cookies and Pocky. ^_^

I was actually on the 11th floor in the Doubletree Hotel. Friday I was eating in the hotel room with a bunch of friends whom I was going with since I had promised them beforehand. All our hotel rooms were next to each other, so it was very convenient for us to travel to and fro from out hotel rooms.
Saturday we only ate supper (or is it really early breakfast?) at 1:00AM after we got our brains scrambled from Anime Hell and Totally Lame Anime After Dark.
Sunday we went out to eat? I can't remember now... Oh! No! We all went swimming!!
My duffle bag probably weighed more than a 100 pounds since I stuffed (well my friend helped me stuff) all my mangas, key chains, box sets, clothes and what ever else I had brought with me into the duffle bag. I'm surprised it didn't actually explode on me! It's such a good bag *pets the bag*
On another note, there was a cosplay photo shoot panel?! WHAT?! You mean I didn't have to run around like a crazy deranged person afterall?!

FYI, it was on Sunday at 11 am. It wasn't on the schedule, as they forgot to put it in there, so they had to find an empty slot at the last minute while I registered.
I'll give this panel again at Otakuthon, don't worry. I'll be more prepared than ever!
